my evo 8 fq330 is low on power, black smokes a little and under labour when say im going slow in 3rd and i put my foot down hard as the revs build it feels as though its holding back then as it comes on boost it cuts out for a second then pulls again. What can cause this and who near me in walsall can fix it if its a map problem ?

Spark plugs need changing. It seems to be ok when I'm on full boost I think it's my map I might fit a better fuel pump before I have it checked and if it's the map I can have a better one put on. How much are they now do I still have to pay to have the ecutec software put on then pay to have it mapped.

Messed with the relays for the engine and fuel they all looked ok. So I pulled the ecu and put it back and left it standing for a few hours to do some work. Started it to go home and she was smoother than normal and wouldn't do the fuel cut thing on my way home. Maybe it's sorted but I will wait to see wat happens on my way home later.
